2025 Spring Wedding Trends
Where did this year go?? I feel as if 2024 just started and now wedding season is over and has me thinking about our upcoming wedding season. As we are closing out of this year, we are keeping an eye on upcoming 2025 wedding trends.
Before we get into this, remember your wedding is about YOU. The most important trend is always authenticity! Do not jump on any trend that does not resonate to you, your style, vibe, or aesthetic.
Pastel and Nude Wedding Colors
Spring is the time for regrowth and the blooming of new flowers. Choose colors that represent your favorite parts of this season. Soft pastels such as pink, lavender, and pale blue are always popular choices in the spring months. These colors are often complemented by more natural shades such as sage green and nudes. Nude wedding colors also offer a timeless and elegant look with soft shades of beige, ivory and blush. These color combinations look beautiful in any setting. Some of our favorite combinations are blush and navy blue, ivory and champagne, and pink and light blue.
Use of Wild Flowers
Wild flowers can be used in many ways to create a garden-inspired wedding day. We expect to see wild flowers incorporated into bouquets, ceremony backdrops, and table décor. Charming, vibrant and natural, wildflowers add fresh and beautiful detail to any weddingscape.
Wildflower Centerpieces
We have seen couples opt for small simple centerpieces rather than large elaborate centerpieces. Add in a pop of color by adding in a couple of wildflower stems to a budvase.
Wildflower Bouquets
Your wedding bouquet is your statement piece and adds personality to your bridal look. for an airy whimsical look consider adding wildflowers to your bouquet. Choose blooms that coincide with your wedding colors. Daisy’s, coneflowers, phlox and yarrow make colorful additions to your bouquet. Don’t forget to add in some greenery such as ferns or eucalyptus.
Ceremony Aisle Runners and Backdrops
The aisle set the tone for your wedding ceremony. Adding a touch of greenery and wildflowers adds a sense of elegance and freshness. The wedding arch is the focal point (besides you) where all eyes are on as vows are exchanged. Create the garden-inspired alter of your dreams by using natural wildflowers and draping lush greenery over the archway. You may also add in similar wildflowers and greenery along your aisle way, attached to chairs or in pots.
Bows and Lace
Bows are timeless and add an elegant and charming touch to each celebration. We love seeing bows incorporated into wedding, and not just on bridal wear. Bows can be found on table decorations, cake designs, and wedding stationary. Another trend prediction for 2025 is lace! Lace is feminine, romantic and adds texture to countless wedding details. You can embellish centerpieces with lace, add to wedding bouquet, or add to ceremony chairs.
Live Wedding Painter
Live painters capture the excitement and romance on the spot, during your wedding, at your wedding venue. Not only do live painters provide a personalized keepsake but is also a unique form of entertainment for your guests. Your guests can take a break from dancing to watch the progress on the painting.
Cocktail Displays
Whether you are having a full bar, just beer and wine, or no alcohol, we expect to see these cocktail trends carry into spring 2025 weddings.
Cocktail displays such as champagne walls, signature drink walls, and champagne towers are unique features that are guaranteed to please your guests. Adding a display wall is an easy way to put the drink of the night on full display. Drink displays are often used to provide guests with welcome drinks or apart of a seating chart that lead your guests to their seats.
Signature drinks are most commonly used at Bliss Barn. Set the celebratory mood for your wedding with a speciality drink featuring your personal favorite drink. Choosing a signature drink (or two) is one of the highlights of planning your wedding. When choosing consider cocktails that you and your partner love most, time of year and location of your wedding. Add some personal flair with a fun name. In the past we’ve seen play on names of the couple, last name, or pets.
Alcohol not your thing? No problem! A fun drink is always a great addition. Slushes, coffee bar, ice tea bar with flavored syrups or mocktails are alternative drink options.
Textured Wedding Stationary
Planning a wedding is a whirlwind of decisions and it starts with the wedding stationary. From announcements, save the date, invitationS, order of events to the menu. Wedding stationary can be more than a simple paper invitation. As we step into 2025 expect to see fun textures, layering, lace and embossed touches. Adding personalized touches such as a velvet ribbon or elegant embossment sets a tone to the day to come.
Live Music
Weddings are not only about creating unforgettable memories for you, but also your guests. From romantic ceremony soloist to a high energy band that gets everyone on the dace floor, live music provides an element of excitement that playlists can’t replicate.
Unique Desserts and Snacks
While the cake often takes center stage, creative desserts and snacks are becoming a popular way for couples to treat their guests. Couples are turning away from the traditional white cake and opting for desserts and snacks that serve as entertainment and delicious. S’mores bar, ice cream trucks, donut walls are fun and interactive ideas. Miniature desserts are also a popular choice. Allow guests to enjoy bite sized options such as mini cupcakes, cheesecakes, cake pops or chocolate mousse.
Late night snacks are always a crowd pleaser! After a a couple (or a few) cocktails and hours of dancing, you and your guests will be craving a savory treat to refuel. Nacho bars, popcorn bars and trail mix buffets are big hits.
Lastly, your wedding is about the union of you and your partner. The most important trend is your authenticity. Never feel pressured by these trends if they do not resonate with you. Instead, use these ideas to inspire and spark creativity when creating your dream day.
